Position Summary

Highly motivated and proven GTM/Sales Leader, accountable for the accelerate growth of Syniti’s software and services business in the UK market. Reporting to the Senior Vice President Sales, EMEA, this role serves as the overall leader for the UK GTM & sales team behaviours, culture and performance. You will set the GTM strategy and sales operating model, as well as build and lead a best-in-class sales team to then deliver the software and services quota via our strategic partners and direct channels. You are deeply motivated by growing a business at an accelerated pace, through multiple channels, solutions and customers. Entrepreneurial by nature, the successful candidate will have a preference for action and is energized by being in front of sales teams, customers and partners to win business and beat the competition. You relish stretch goals and take pride in rapidly building and leading an exceptional team of sales professionals that always want to achieve more than their previous best. The ideal candidate works best as a player/coach.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Own and drive a successful regional software and consulting services GTM & sales organisation to over-achievement
  • Provide strong people leadership, highly experienced in a sales environment, with proven success in hiring, engaging, retaining and developing key sales talent
  • Track record of increasing productivity of sales teams through skill development, providing inspiration, rapid conflict resolution, and building a highly empowered sales culture
  • Build a sales organisation with excellence in all areas of sales execution including: lead generation, daily/weekly/monthly pipeline orchestration and management, deal progression and closure, and maximising the return from both net new and an existing installed base of customers
  • Manage and execute complex, enterprise wide sales-cycles and effectively present our value proposition
  • Engage with senior buyers and executives in large and global enterprise customers across multiple industries, using a value based selling approach, so that they become long-term Syniti customers
  • Leverage and grow Partner Channels as well as direct to customer net-new sales
  • Provide analytical and structured thinking, quickly understand the tasks at hand, relevant context and able to synthesize and act decisively
  • Operate in a fast-paced environment and lead a sales team to exceptional results within the guidelines of the Syniti sales methodology and standards
  • Develop and maintain key customer relationships focused on business outcomes that ensures we deliver on our land and expand ambitions
  • Work across all GTM functions to develop target account/market plans that delivers a credible rolling 4 quarter pipeline that yields sufficient opportunities to grow at least at our target sales objectives
  • Effectively communicate the value of Syniti products and value proposition to employees, customers and partners
  • Instill value based / business outcome selling into all our deals and propositions
  • Leverage executive support from across Syniti for sales strategy, partner engagement, field sales, customer sponsorship
  • Be accountable for accurate forecasting and regular sales performance reviews that drive insight and continuous improvement
  • Attend & lead meetings, trainings and conferences as required by the business & for the UK sales team
  • Travel as required


  • 10+ years of progressive experience as a senior sales leader of a high-growth, software-led, technology company, preferably B2B large enterprise focus with elements of SaaS/software/subscription revenue models
  • Proven track record of success within an emerging software company, in particular rapidly and successfully scaling a sales team to drive bookings from €10m to €100m+
  • Demonstrated success maximising the value from a diverse Partner ecosystem in both software and system integrators. Including, joint strategy and business planning, demand generation, account planning, sales and GTM enablement, commercial innovation and successful deal pursuit with Partners
  • Expertise in value-based selling and business outcomes led services and solutions. Demonstrable skills in selling into Customer needs and pain points. Ability to build and communicate compelling business case led value propositions
  • Understands and uses competitive positioning to win a clients’ business and beat the competition
  • Proven track-record in selling and winning large ($10m+) deals in both Software and Services
  • Extensive expertise in selling into C-Suite Executives. At ease communicating to a wide and diverse audience of stakeholders and leading them to a buying decision
  • Successfully sold into both national and international/global clients at FTSE100/Fortune500 level
  • Experience and use of Sandler or similar sales methodology preferred
  • Strong relationship builder. Brings a network of Senior buyers and influencers. Enjoys and actively seeks new and deeper relationships with Customers and Prospects
  • Preferred behaviour to lead from the front. Takes ownership for most important opportunities and clients. Acts as a player/coach
  • Demonstrated work ethic with the highest level of integrity
  • Deep experience in territory and pipeline management including prospecting, driving, orchestrating and closing complex sales cycles
  • Dynamic and disciplined work style demonstrating intellectual horsepower, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a passion for making a mark in fast-paced, growing environments
  • Goal oriented with a track record of over-achievement (President’s Club, Rep of the Year, etc.) and passionate about cultivating high-performance teams
  • Intelligent, possessing aptitude to learn quickly and establish credibility
  • Detailed oriented, especially in negotiating contracts and key terms with customers and partners
  • Excellent Communicator – written and verbal
