Our Commitment
We believe the power of data is to make a positive impact across businesses, people, and the environment.
That is why Syniti is committed to helping reduce the carbon footprint by planting trees for every new customer, each successful customer Go-Live and through our growth with each new employee.
THE VISION
Celebrate the success between Syniti, our customers, and our employees, by giving back to the environment.
THE MISSION
To plant a tree for every customer, successful Go-Live and new Synizen, and ultimately grow a Syniti Forest in each location where we operate
THE IMPACT
The average carbon footprint for a person globally is close to 4 tons, which can be offset by planting 6 trees per month. The Syniti Forest will become part of the Syniti landscape and will grow and flourish together with our clients and employees.
WHY SYNITI
We believe in the power of data to make a positive impact on businesses, people, and the environment.
Syniti is committed to reducing our carbon footprint.
2024 Planting by Climate Issue
By the end of 2024, Syniti will plant over 20,000 trees! Making a positive impact near the areas where we operate.
Location: Brazil – Amazon Rainforest – State of Rondônia and Mato Grosso
Solution: Sustainable Forestry
The Brazilian Amazon is one of the largest and most diverse biomes on the planet, but deforestation and devastation have become a daily reality. Tree planting efforts are critical in helping support not only the rare and wonderful biodiversity found here but also the indigenous communities that live in harmony with the forest. Native tree species will be planted to provide habitat for a large variety of plants and animals, to improve soil and water quality, and to help mitigate climate change. These trees will also serve as a source of food, medicine, and income for the thousands of indigenous people who call the Amazon home.
Location: US – Klamath County 242 Fire Restoration Project
Solution: Wildfire Recovery
The Winema National Forest in southern Oregon is a beloved area for its stunning vistas, recreation activities, and vast wildness home to a diverse array of flora and fauna. When the “242 fire” roared through this area in 2020, it took thousands of acres of forest, leaving a vast burn scar in its wake. Planting young trees, including Douglas fir and ponderosa pine, will not only bring this biodiversity hotspot back to life but also ensure that future generations can enjoy a thriving and beautiful wilderness area.
Location: UK – England’s Community Forests
Solution: Habitat and Biodiversity
England’s Community Forests is a growing network of woodlands and green spaces that connect people with nature. Collectively, these 12 community forests form England’s largest environmental regeneration initiative. As tree planting efforts in this forest increase, so do the benefits— including environmental, health, and economic benefits that will ensure a better future for area communities.
Location: India – Cauvery River Basin
Solution: Habitat and Biodiversity
Southern India’s Cauvery River Basin is in crisis. This replanting project seeks to restore 300 acres of land in Project Impact. The river has shrunk by an estimated 40 % from its historical flows over 70 years. This sharp depletion is resulting in drinking water scarcity and agrarian distress. A loss of tree cover has also contributed to poor soil health. Reforesting this river basin and educating farmers about agroforestry practices will help to stabilize the river and improve soil conditions over time.
Syniti Forest
Syniti is planting a tree for every successful Go-Live and new talent joining the organization. By the end of 2024, the Syniti Forest will support the planting of more than 20,000 trees in locations near communities where Syniti operates.
