The organization, an American manufacturer of life sciences products, continues to rollout SAP ECC and MDG with Syniti as its lead data partner. The latest phase of its multi-year program included migrating legacy data from SAP Business One, plus 11 other Business One and ECC instances from across the organization to its new central SAP ECC ERP. Additionally, the project included setting up a new distribution center in Mexico and merging two European businesses.

Using Syniti Advanced Data Migration and Syniti’s SAP Data Services Accelerator, we were able to migrate multiple streams of master data in parallel, including material, customer and vendor, inventory, procurement, and enterprise asset management data. Given Syniti’s existing partnership with the company, we were able to bring in an experienced team to the project and apply methodology and standards developed from years of data migrations to this phase of the program.

Within an 11-month period, Syniti successfully orchestrated the company’s data migration project with 100% load success. The impact of the solution’s automation allowed the organization to re-assign the team responsible for data migration and remediation by an incredible 60% without any business disruption. Following the go-live, the whole EMEA and North American business was centralized into one core ERP, unifying reporting and analysis, enabling faster time-to-value, and improving organizational data quality and decision making.
