M&A Migration to Consolidate HR & Payroll Data into a single SAP Instance
Challenge
An international utilities, operations and maintenance provider with a staff of over 30,000, sought to integrate an acquired company into their IT landscape. The utilities provider wanted to drive business outcomes from a more accurate business data set with HR and payroll data being the first area of focus. Data would need to be harmonized and migrated from the two organization’s disparate legacy systems into the new SAP system for the strategy to succeed. Following a lack of progress with another vendor, the organization was severely limited on time to achieve program goals, so upon engaging Syniti they requested the entire migration program, including mock runs, be completed in an aggressive 5-month window.
Solution
